Across 662,248 pool snapshots from eight Collector Crypt machines over 45 days, just 110 crossed break-even.
Restocks. Hot streaks. Lucky hours. Every timing story promises the same thing: that a negative game briefly becomes a good bet if you arrive at the right moment. So we checked the hurdle that every one of those stories has to clear — whether the pool's theoretical value actually crossed break-even.
In 662,248 pool snapshots from eight Collector Crypt machines across 45 days, the theoretical math crossed break-even in just 110 — 0.017%. Put another way, on these machines, 99.983% of the recorded snapshots were still negative bets.
That does not prove every hour is identical or that a pool never changes. It says the timing pitch almost never cleared the first hurdle that matters to a player: turning the offered pack into a positive theoretical bet.
Our July 13 issue tested the depleted end and found no last-cards advantage. This broader snapshot check reaches the same practical answer from the clock itself. On these machines, whatever timing story you believe, there was essentially never a good-bet moment in this record. Open because you want the pack, not because a notification or a streak makes the timing look special.
