Data & Commercial Use

What this data is

RipIndex readings come from two kinds of sources: public blockchains (real pull transactions, deliveries, buybacks — anyone can verify them) and the gacha platforms’ own published odds and prices, shown as theirs. What RipIndex adds — the compilation, the derived metrics (realized EV, worst-pull floors, luck grades, heat), the verification work, and the way it’s all presented — is our work product.

Personal & community use — welcome

  • Screenshot it, quote it, post it, argue about it in your Discord. That’s what it’s for.
  • Credit RipIndex (rip-index.com) and link back where the format allows. A screenshot that keeps our name visible counts.
  • Journalists, researchers, and creators: use our figures with credit — and if you want a number double-checked or context on how it was measured, ask. We’ll help.

Commercial use — ask first

Written permission is required before you:

  • republish or redistribute our data or derived metrics as part of a product, app, bot, dataset, or paid service;
  • use our numbers to power pricing, trading, or analytics tools offered to others;
  • systematically collect pages or endpoints (scraping, polling, mirroring) beyond ordinary browsing.

“Written permission” isn’t a moat — it’s a conversation. We’ve said yes to reasonable asks and we answer quickly: email support@rip-index.com, or reach us on Discord or X @Rip_Index. There is no public API today; if you need programmatic access, that’s exactly the kind of ask to bring us.

One rule, stated once

We’ve read data policies that permit something in one clause and forbid it in the next. Ours is one rule: credit + link for people, permission for products. If a situation seems ambiguous, ask — the answer will be consistent with that rule.

Accuracy & no warranty

  • Numbers can lag, sources can hiccup, and we correct errors when we find them (or when you point them out — please do).
  • Data is provided as-is, without warranty. Verify independently before relying on it for anything that matters.
  • Nothing here is financial advice. Almost every pack we track is −EV over the long run — measuring that is, in fact, the point of the site; when our data says one isn't, we show that too.

Our side of the bargain

We hold ourselves to the same standard we ask of others: platform odds and prices are always attributed to the platform that published them, on-chain claims are verifiable on-chain, and corrections or takedown requests get a prompt human answer.
